illiterate. and stupid. what's YOUR average, i'd like to know? what's your class ranking?
and no right? this is an art website. there are a lot of people out there worse than me, and if she can't handle a little criticism, be it constructive or hateful, then she better get off the damned website before people who can see past "pretty" start in on her. so what if it was hateful? if those few words i said in my first comment bashed her self-esteem to the ground, wtf. she's putting her photos out there, they're gonna be judged.
i didn't plan to bombard her with hate, i meant to let her know how come i didn't like that photo. i found her expression not matching up with the title she gave it, which was 'promise'. for me, titles are very important, esp. if they're a piece of artwork, not my dev ID (on which you made a mistake of calling the title unoriginal). the title can say everything about the art and if she can't think of a suitable title maybe she should post it unnamed.
i apologize if i was a bit rough on her, but in my experience, there have been worse people, as i mentioned before. or i've given tougher commentary and the artist graciously accepts it. maybe your friend should learn how to respond positively instead of breaking into tears and grabbing a knife and rushing at me, metaphorically. i could have expanded my explanation had she asked...i just wanted to let her know why i did not like her photo.
i hope you and i do not come to terrible terms because of this, seeing as this is between me and your friend.
i do understand why you did that as i would for any friend, if she had been severely teased or whatever. but it was a simple critique and your friend COULD have reacted in a different fashion.
so, that's my point.
